"In Loving Memory"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from a photograph of my grandparents' house, located in Miles Cove, Newfoundland, during the late 1980s; currently, this house no longer exists.
Since then, both of my grandparents have passed away, giving this print a special meaning to anyone connected to Nan and Pop Reid. If you look close enough, you may even see her peeking through the curtains in the front window. |

"Bird House"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from a photograph I took at my in-law's property last winter.
This bird house was made by my father-in-law quite some time ago, giving it a nice weathered look; making it a nice object to draw as a Winter/Christmas scene.

"From The Wharf"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from a photograph taken in the
picturesque
outport community of Round Harbour, Newfoundland;
located on the Baie Verte peninsula, near La Scie.
This drawing captures the elements of a distinctive Newfoundland
outport, exhibiting objects such as stages, fish nets, boats, old houses, the salt water, cliffs, rolling fog, and more. |

"If These Walls Could Talk"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from the fact that this is my grandparents' old house. The original was derived from several differently-angled old photographs, along with the aid of my memory.
This house doesn't exist anymore, giving this drawing a special place in each of my relative's hearts as well as my own. |

"Happy Adventure"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from a photograph taken in the outport community of Happy Adventure, Newfoundland.
This outport, near Terra Nova National Park, owes its unusual name to the crew of a vessel that successfully eluded pirates by hiding in its nearly land-locked habour during the 1700s.
This print would look fantastic in the in any room or would make a great gift for someone who has visited or originates from Newfoundland. |

"Abandoned"
Inspiration for this drawing comes from a photograph taken in Laurenceton, Newfoundland, near Lewisporte.
This traditional 1890s Newfoundland homestead was once, the oldest standing house in the community. Since then, sadly, this house has been torn down.
In addition, this was the first drawing I ever attempted using proper artist materials. Looking back, I've always been able to draw quite well, but up until drawing this house, I never really displayed this talent for all to see. |
